Wake Up With Kevin Durant Dropping 66 At Rucker Park

Every once in a while I think about the time Kevin Durant went absolutely nuts and dropped 66 points at Rucker Park during the 2011 lockout. It's honestly one of the most pure things you'll ever see. There's being in the zone and then there's whatever Durant was feeling on that night in August. Well before people hated his guts for going to GS, the way the crowd reacted and mobbed him at the end was as genuine as it gets. I love the build up of everything as each shot Durant took dropped, that must have been so awesome to witness in person. Durant may as well have been shooting around by himself in that game because there was not a damn thing any defender could do. When he hit that final three and everyone rushed the court must have been an incredible feeling.

To be honest I'm not sure what made me think of this today, but every time the thought pops into my brain I watch this video and figured it was the perfect way to start our day.
