(5) Larry David 3295 45.00%

When you get down to the Final Four in a tournament like this, its hard to be too outraged with the results. Every character is incredibly strong. This Final Four doesnt really have any Cinderellas. These are all worthy names.

And I know when you open it up to public voting, anything goes. You’ve got young Stoolies and dumb Stoolies and everything in between putting in their 2 cents. So I have to just accept what happens here and stay calm.

But George Costanza losing to Michael Scott is just not right. Its not a knock on Michael Scott, its about giving George Costanza his proper due. The man transcended TV. Handed out life lessons to every miserable, mediocre, average man alive. Taught you how to lie. Taught you how to snake. Taught you how to scheme your way through life when you have absolutely zero discernible skills. Very minimal good qualities. His quotes and his scams, the predicaments he found himself in, live on today in the year 2015. His romantic life, his career life, his social life, all applicable to the common man to this day. There’s a reason why 2 Final Four characters were basically the same man with both Costanza and Larry David – because their lives are our lives.

Michael Scott was a dopey funny guy. Very funny guy. A lot of Michael Scott’s logic or jokes can be compared to every day situations as well. We reference him once a show on the Rundown. But it doesnt compare to the impact George Costanza had to every below average man out there. Michael Scott is a worthy competitor for a TV title, but not at the expense of George Costanza.

On the other side of the bracket, Walter White advances for a shot at cutting down the nets. No surprise there. Obviously a lot of what I said about George applies directly to Larry David as well, its just not the same as Costanza. George came first. As a “fictional” character he was able to be in far more ridiculous situations that just took all the every day personality traits of Larry David to the next level. And meanwhile Walter White/Heisenberg solidified himself as one of the most manipulative, ingenious, cutthroat, badass, evil personalities ever on TV. An anti-hero turned villain of that caliber beats Larry David 100 times out of 100.

So now here we are. Michael Scott vs Walter White for the title. I truly dont know whats gonna happen here. Based on the margin of victories, Michael Scott would be the betting man’s pick. But Walter has been rolling the competition as well. Would loved to have seen a Costanza vs. White title match up but Michael Scott it just as intriguing. Its Walter vs. Michael Scott. Heisenberg vs. Michael Scarn. Some Prison Mike tactics may come in handy in this show down. Who knows. Vote now. We crown our champ tomorrow.
