Diplomatic Immunity & The Death Of Harry Dunn

Those are the words of Charlotte Charles, a distraught mother pleading with the woman who is responsible for her 19 year old son's death, to return to the United Kingdom to face justice, and give her and her family the closure they need to move on from their tragedy.
On August 27th, 2019, Nineteen year old Harry Dunn was riding his motorcycle near Croughton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. He was riding responsibly, on the correct side of the road, enjoying his youth. Anne Sacoolas, a former CIA operative and wife of a US government official working at the Royal Air Force Base Croughton, was not driving on the correct side of the road. The head on collision between the motorcycle and Volvo SUV killed 19 year old Harry Dunn and sparked a diplomatic nightmare that has continued until today.
Diplomatic immunity is a form of legal immunity that ensures diplomats are given safe passage and are considered not susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the host country's laws, although they may still be expelled. SOURCE
Following the accident, Anne Sacoolas, with help from the US Government, fled the UK on a US Air Force plane and claimed diplomatic immunity, therefore wiping her hands clean of the accident, even though she admitted that she was in fact at fault for the teenagers death.
This of course sparked a diplomatic nightmare for the US and the UK. Boris Johnson tried to intervene and asked the US State Department & President Trump to extradite Anne back to the UK to face justice, but Secretary of State Mike Pompeo denied the request, and the quest for justice by the family of Harry Dunn carried on. Even the US has admitted that the immunity of Sacoolas is no longer in place, but with a refusal to extradite, it's basically the same thing.
On October 15th 2019, Harry Dunn's parents visited President Trump at The White House and were essentially ambushed when Trump said that Anne Sacoolas was waiting in the next room. He basically wanted to force a forgiveness meeting, something the Dunn's were not ready for, it is also reported that Trump tried to offer them some compensation in lieu of Sacoolas returning to the UK. I mean, it was certainly worth a shot, but how much money is justice for your son worth?
When Dunn's parents visited the White House on 15 October 2019 to meet with "a senior official," they were to hear President Trump tell them that Sacoolas was waiting "in the next room" to meet them, an option they and their lawyer rejected as being too soon, and something that should take place on British soil.Trump called his meeting with the Dunn family "beautiful in a certain way." He also said driving on the wrong side "happens to a lot of people" because they "go to Europe and the roads are opposite." It was later alleged that President Trump had intended to pay the family compensation, but they refused it: The Dunn family's spokesman reported that the White House meeting ended with the president saying the secretary of the treasury, Steven Mnuchin, was "standing by ready to write a cheque", adding: "It was almost as if he let it slip out. When he said: ‘We’ve got the driver [Sacoolas] here’, he basically meant we’re all going to have a big hug and a kiss and I'll get my treasury guy to write a cheque. That's how it was. On the day it just didn't register with me, but the more I think about those words, the more shocking it is.” SOURCE
On December 20th, 2019, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) officially charged Sacoolas with Dunn's death, the official charge was causing death by dangerous driving, because driving on the wrong side of the road is certainly dangerous. The charge carried a potential 14 year sentence and Sacoola's attorney basically said there was no way she was going back and that the punishment was too harsh.
A poll was even conducted in January of this year and it was found that a VAST majority, 64%, of Americans polled said they supported the extradition of Anne Sacoolas back to the UK to face the fucking music. POLL
FAST FORWARD TO TODAY AND NOW THIS
Interpol or the International Criminal Police Organization, has issued a RED NOTICE for Anne Sacoolas.

In a significant escalation of Britain’s stance on the issue, it emerged on Monday that Interpol had issued a request to police forces worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest Ms Sacoolas if she crossed their borders. SOURCE
So what does this mean? It means that if Anne Sacoolas wants to take a trip to Paris, which she definitely should not, she better watch her fucking back or she will end up in a UK jail and put on trial for Dunn's death. If she stays in the US she can live out the rest of her days relaxing in Florida, facing no justice other than what one can hope is the guilt inside her own head.
It does beg the question though. If you had this get out of free jail card, wouldn't you take it?
