Wake Up With Kyle Dugger Getting Surprised With a Senior Bowl Invitation

It’s a safe bet that no kid has ever written in his Dream Journal that his life’s goal is to someday play in the NFL and the way he’s going to get there is by playing for that noted football factory, Lenoir-Rhyne University. So it’s probably even a safer bet it was a career highlight for Kyle Dugger’s coach and teammates to tell him he was the only DII player invited to Mobile. Watching their genuine outburst of emotion for the guy is one of those true “Why We Love Sports” moments. And good for Dugger that he made the most of the opportunity he was given. By all accounts he showed enough against the best competition in the country to prove all the big BCS programs made a mistake passing him up and skyrocketing himself up all the draft boards. It’s a cliche to call his a “Rocky” story, but that doesn’t mean it’s not accurate. I cannot wait to see this kid on a practice field.
