CC Sabathia Says Shohei Ohtani Is The Best Baseball Player He's EVER SEEN...Wait What???

Well I mean that's goddamn ridiculous. He's as talented as it gets no doubt about it, but Carsten let's pump the brakes a little here my man. Let's remember you played in the bigs for NINETEEN YEARS. Think about the guys you've shared a field with in your career…

Guys like BARRY BONDS, prime A-ROD, Mariano Rivera, prime Albert Pujols, Ichiro, Griffey (although out of his prime), Jeter etc. We haven't even mentioned Ohtani's current teammate who could retire at the age of 28 and have the numbers to be in the Hall of Fame. I watch Mike Trout play baseball and laugh out loud at how easily he dominates the league year in and year out. 

Now don't get me wrong, Ohtani is wildly talented and if you want to crown him as the most unique baseball player ever I'll certainly hear the argument. That being said, whenever the next baseball season happens it'll be Shohei's 3rd. The most games he's played in a season so far is 106. He has 10 career starts on the mound. 

What did I get out of this clip? CC is really enjoying the fruits of some California weed and wine during his first few months as a retired pro athlete.
