Happy 19-Year Anniversary To Randy Johnson Killing That Bird!

First and foremost, RIP in peace to that bird. Sad stuff.

But MAN, what a baseball moment. Of all pitchers to fly in the way of a pitch of, it's gotta be one of the hardest-throwing pitchers in the history of baseball. I guess if you're gonna go like that, you'd want it to be death on impact. No suffering that way. Not a damn feather left on its body. Poor thing would've suffered for weeks if it flew in the way of a Dallas Braden fastball. Got to think of it like that.

Also, another thought I had while watching this video and letting it sink in that this happened 19 years ago is that there are probably some baseball fans that never even knew this happened. That's when you know you're getting old, when a baseball moment that everyone you grew up with cited many times is now a new discovery to your younger readers.
