Wait A Second...I Think The Undertaker Might Be Wrestling E-Gamer Dr. Disrespect At WrestleMania This Year? Maybe?

[Editor's Note:This is another guest blog from prospective Gaming blogger, @UnfilteredNerd, who knows his stuff and then some. Go and give him a follow.]

Ok I know this sounds fucking insane but hear me out. I’ve been paying special attention to the Doc for about a week now because some interesting things have been going on. First, he showed up randomly on a WWE Smackdown Preview:

Then he made another random unprompted appearance last Wednesday on one of WWE’s shows: The Bump:

Over the last few days, his stream started having “technical issues”:

And then to wrap it all up, last night, he received a call from the Deadman himself:

All of this is making me start to believe we’re heading toward a Wrestlmania match between The Undertaker and Dr. Disrespect in April of this year. The timing of all this marketing gives them about a month to promote the match and it makes all the sense in the world. WWE’s stocks and ratings aren’t doing all that well for like a year now, so how do you boost them? Bring back one of the greatest faces in your company’s history and have him fight the 6’8”, two-time champ, and 2019 Streamer of the Year Dr. Disrespect. Let’s face it: Taker is 54 years old and with all due respect, he just can’t do what he used to any more. But can he do a quick 2-3 minute squash match with all his finishing moves? Absolutely. And Doc is an athletic beast who, with just a little training, can absolutely perform in the ring.

None of this is confirmed; at the moment it’s all just speculation by me. But Dr. Disrespect has stated he has a “special announcement” for today’s stream starting at 11am PT/2pm ET. Now I don’t know if this is the announcement he’s going to make or if he’s going to finally announce what hardware company he’s partnering with (I think ROCCAT), but this I know for sure: if he does end up wrestling Taker at Wrestlemania, it will shake both the gaming and wrestling worlds to their core.

At least it'll be a step up for the Doc from smacking around General Smitty and Private Balls:

[Editor's Note: We checked with Robbie Fox who stated there is an, and I quote: "0.00% chance of this happening at this year's Wrestlemania.  Carry on.]
