Reminder That 'Top Gun: Maverick' Is Going To Fucking RIP

The Super Bowl spot just reminded me that I cannot fucking WAIT for this movie. Tom Cruise has been on a tear of legitimate bangers in the most recent MI movies and the Jack Reacher franchise, and this looks like it picks up where those left off. Say goodbye to cheesy, CGI messes and say hello to dramatic practical effects. If you missed some of my previous blogs on the subject, the cast includes Tom Cruise returning as Maverick and Val Kilmer is returning as Iceman. The new additions that have been previously announced are Miles Teller (Whiplash) and Glen Powell (Set it up) as well as Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind), Charles Parnell (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Jay Ellis (Insecure), Danny Ramirez (Assassination Nation) Monica Barbaro (Chicago Justice) and Bashir Salahuddin (Snatched) also have supporting roles.
