Fast & Furious 9 Trailer Makes A "Huge" Reveal: John Cena Playing Vin Diesel's Brother

That very well might be the longest fucking trailer ever made. Was that the whole fucking movie!?

This big news? John Cena is playing the brother of Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto...

Honestly, I don't hate this idea! I expected him to be a hero and a fill-in for The Rock, who will not be in this movie. Having him as the villain is an interesting element.

The other big news is the return of Han...

I have no idea how they will make this work because, uh, Han was super dead in this universe...

If there is any franchise that can make pure absurdity work, it's this one. I'll trust their ability to bring Han back from the very-obvious dead.

Justin Lin is also back in the fold as director; he previously directed the fourth, fifth, six and 'Tokyo Drift' movies…

F9 sees the return of Justin Lin as director, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series when it transformed into a global blockbuster. The action hurtles around the globe—from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tblisi. Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before. 

When it comes to these movies you just have to take them for what they are at this point. A few of the movies were solid, but, for the most part, it's all a bunch of nonsense. The drop-off from 'Furious 7', which I thought was awesome, to 'Fate of the Furious' was pretty massive, so I will be setting the bar quite low. ('Hobbs & Shaw' was quite enjoyable, though…)
