Scientists Find Fossil That Prove Dragons Were Real, Feels Good To Be So Right

University Greifswald - Prehistoric Flying Dragon

(Source)–At the end of its long, bony tail – fused into a stiff rod – were two very long feathers.

While scientists know that the dinosaur was covered with feathers, they’re less sure exactly how those feathers were used and say its discovery could help further illuminate a period in which dinosaurs spread their wings and began to evolve into present-day birds.

The new dinosaur fits in with an incredible radiation of feathered, winged animals that are closely related to the origin of birds,’ said Dr. Ashley Poust, who analyzed the specimen while he was a student at Montana State University.

‘Studying specimens like this not only shows us the sometimes surprising paths that ancient life has taken, but also allows us to test ideas about how important bird characteristics, including flight, arose in the distant past.’

Birds evolved from small feathered dinosaurs roughly 150 million years ago. But there were many feathered dinosaurs that did not fly, like Wulong.

Oh FUCK yes! I’ve been a long time dragon truther. Dragons were real at one time. Guaranteed. I wrote about it back in April. And in case you don’t want to click the link here is my basic premise from that blog

Every culture has some sort of Dragon Mythology. Africa, Europe, the Far East, North and South American indigenous cultures, everyone. Peoples separated by thousands of miles, vast oceans, and who knows….20,000+ years all came up with the exact same story? They all envisioned the same exact scariest baddest flying reptile who could breathe fire? There is no common language, no common religion, no common art, no common architecture, but everyone all over the world shares the same fear? The same myth? How the fuck is that possible? I can’t be the only person who finds that weird and interesting. Makes me think that maybe some dragon like creature actually existed when early man was around and the horrors were so profound that as people wandered all over the Earth the one thing that they took with them was this collective memory of their greatest fear. I think that is plausible.

And now…proof. Fossil remains of an animal that looks like this

Now you’re probably thinking “that thing is the size of a crow. Every human on planet Earth was afraid of that?”…first of all, yes. Fuck you. A flying lizard bird thing with sharp teeth and ate small mammals, yeah, that’s scary as fuck you hardo. If one of those things attacked you as an early human and the only thing you could do to protect yourself was throw sticks and rocks you’d be scared too. Hell, if a crow attacked right now I’d be scared shitless. Secondly, turn your brain on. Think of how many birds exist now. There’s roughly a billion species of birds by my count. Just because this fossil was small doesn’t mean that other giant scary ass ones didn’t exist too. Maybe this was a baby one. You never know. Did it breathe fire? I have no idea, but could that have been a metaphor for the Dinosaur dragon bird that killed Newman in Jurasic Park by spitting like mace or something in his face?

Point is that these things existed at one point and even though this article says they didn’t over lap with humans I think that is impossible to prove. We probably killed all of them because you know…they’re dragons.

PS: I know climate change or global warming or whatever is bad. Sounds bad anyways. Let’s just say that all of Antarctica does melt though…I hope I am alive to see what’s buried there. Shit has been packed under ice for like 200 million years or whatever. They could have anything down there under that ice. Dinosaurs preserved perfectly, Big Foot, maybe even Atlantis. Maybe Aliens. Probably a ton of cool shit we could never even imagine. So again…not rooting for global warming, but…would be kinda cool to find a full T-Rex.
