New Study Says That Teachers Are Basically Useless And Americans Only Trust Amazon And Google

Source - Tom Hanks might be America’s favorite actor, but he’s not as trustworthy as Amazon or Google, according to a new report.

According to market research firm Morning Consult, the two tech titans are among the most trustworthy brands in the US, coming in behind only a person’s doctor and the US military.

Fifty percent of respondents said their “primary doctor” was the top trusted brand, while 39 percent and 38 percent of respondents said Amazon and Google were their most trusted brand.

Amazon and Google also ranked higher than teachers, the police, scientific studies, and the US government.

The data, which comes from online surveys on approximately 2,000 brands and an average of 16,700 interviews per brand, found that “despite widespread societal distrust, brands remain largely well trusted by consumers,” adding that Amazon and Google even outrank “other institutions, public figures and ideas.”

This has to be the least surprising study in the history of studies. When you think about what a teacher actually does, it’s complete bullshit. They regurgitate pre-written material from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday nine months a year then take a three month vacation. The stuff they teach is irrelevant, most of them act like dictators, and the only reason they get so much respect in the first place is because they babysit our children. Which from what I hear is a nightmare. That’s not to say teachers can’t have a positive impact on a child’s life because they can, but usually not with the material they’re teaching. When’s the last time you used A squared plus B squared equals C squared? Never. Remember that class on taxes that you took sophomore year? Me either because it never happened. Which is why I’m not surprised that people trust Google and Amazon more than their teachers. The internet isn’t going to lock you in a room and force-feed you useless information unless you want it to.

Teachers won’t track your location and listen in on your conversations. At least not the good ones. Trust the internet, but trust it with caution. It’s a weird place. Here’s what it would look like if it were were a real.
