Carson Wentz Gets Physically Assaulted Out Of The Game And The Eagles Season Has Ended

Federal crime. Let's face it, Carson Wentz probably had to play a perfect game to win this game. Once Ginger Jesus went into the locker room to be hoisted up on the cross, the Eagles were in miracle territory. Still, Josh McCown not even throwing it on 4th down doesn't fucking help anyone. The defense, albeit only giving up 17 points, missing key tackles on 3rd and long as well as letting DK Metcaf whip his deep dark dick out THE ENTIRE FUCKING GAME -

- also doesn't fucking help anyone. Remember when the Eagles drafted JJ Arcega-Whiteside (0 catches, 0 yards, 0 td) in the 2nd round instead of DK Metcaf (7 catches, 160 yards, 2 td)? That was cute.

Regardless, the Eagles STILL overachieved this year. These guys, a lot of who weren't even on a roster at the beginning of the year, played their balls to the bone. Yes, the NFC East won't be donkey shit every year, but with the numerous injury issues this team suffered, it was still a valiant effort this season. Now let's get some people around Carson that can actually play at a NFL level (Greg Ward is going to be a GREAT 3rd/4th WR on a playoff team) that can stay healthy and come back next year. For better or worse, at least Dallas still sucks and is in shambles. Even while the Eagles are literally being eliminated during the playoffs.
