RIP Juice WRLD

(Chicago Sun-Times) – Chicago-born rapper Juice WRLD died Sunday after suffering a medical emergency at Midway Airport, according to media reports.

The 21-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, died after suffering a seizure, according to TMZ.

Chicago police confirmed that a 21-year-old man suffered a medical emergency at the airport about 2 a.m. after getting off a private jet. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

The cause of death was not immediately known, police said.

This man turned 21 six days ago. And now he’s gone. Every older rapper in the game who spoke about Juice WRLD had nothing but positive things to say about him and his talents. The fact that Future wanted to do an entire project with him while still at the peak of his popularity speaks volumes about how he viewed the up-and-coming Chicago emcee. Not news I anticipated waking up to, not news I wanted to wake up to. It really sucks when young people, talented or not, pass away. It feels unfair.
