Michigan Hoops Just Made The Biggest Jump In AP Poll History Going Unranked To No. 4

Finally some decent news for Michigan people out here. Am I saying that hoping to put Dave in a better mood as the end of the year approaches? Absolutely. But it's also impossible to hate this Michigan team. Juwan Howard is a dude, Zavier Simpson is so damn fun to watch, Jon Teske is out here turning into an All-Conference player. Hell, they even have my hometown represented with Eli Brooks. 

But the fact that Howard instituted a whole new system and they haven't missed a beat is what's surprising. John Beilein was one of the 10 best coaches in America and in comes Howard, who is instituting more of a NBA-type system. They are pushing the floor, using more high ball screens for Simpson to attack and surrounding him with shooters - Teske included for pick and pops. They are putting guys like Livers, Dejulius, Wagner and Brooks on the wing so defenders have to decide to stop Simpson or leave a shooter.
