Wake Up With Chris Sale Nailing Victor Martinez For Stealing Signs From The Outfield

With all the sign stealing stuff going around these last few weeks I decided to pop this bad boy in here. Chris Sale, normally a guy who can put the ball wherever he wants, pithing a shutout, catches Victor Martinez of the Tigers on the arm. Seems harmless, except V-Mart didn’t like it, Sale didn’t exactly make it seem like an accident either. As the video pointed out, Sale points to center, says something to Martinez, and at the end of the inning makes a gesture out to center again. He thought someone was relaying some sort of message to the Tigers hitters. Could it have been? Absolutely. Could it have not been happening? Sure. Regardless, Sale wanted it to stop and took it out on Martinez. My guess is it stopped after that hit by pitch.
