Greg Hardy Finally Lost A Fight Fair & Square

Greg Hardy finally lost a fight in the octagon this evening to Alexander Volkov over in Moscow, but unfortunately, it wasn’t really the loss we were hoping for.

I think, BEST CASE SCENARIO in our minds, would be something like this…

…and AT THE VERY LEAST, we were looking for something like this…

Instead, though, we got a pretty boring three rounder where Greg Hardy looked pretty decent but clearly outmatched throughout. He held his own against Volkov for the most part (with a broken hand for a lot of the fight), his cardio held up, he threw some huge shots that landed – he basically just came outta this making me think he’s better than I thought he was going in. Kinda sucks to say as a noted hater of Greg Hardy!

Some of his punches were so unconventional I almost felt like they had that Deontay Wilder thing about em. Ugly but they’d put your lights out if they landed, you know? Obviously the power he puts behind em is terrifying as well. I dunno tho, that was just so disappointing.

Expected Volkov to get the finish and he didn’t. That’s the last time I trust a Russian.
