Does This Look Like The Face Of A Man That Allegedly Stole A Brinks Truck With $1.2 Million Inside Before Simply Dying His Hair Blonde To Avoid Being Caught?
(Source)- An FBI task force has arrested a suspect who was wanted for the theft of an armored car in Tempe, authorities said Tuesday. Edwin Jobany Villa, 23, was taken into custody near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix at around 7 p.m. on Monday, according to the FBI. He was booked on two counts of felony theft and one count each of conspiracy to commit theft and unlawful use of means of transportation.
In photos circulated before his arrest, Villa had dark hair. It was dyed blond in his booking mugshot.
Villa allegedly stole a Brinks truck from outside the Costco near Elliot Road and Priest Drive at about noon on Oct. 27. The truck was later located behind a business about a block away with money missing and nobody operating it.
Well it looks like 2019 is officially The Year Of Edwins Blowing Wins. I'm not one to say that crime pays or is even close to a good thing to get involved it. But everybody from Danny Ocean to honest working suckers like myself have dreamt of robbing a Brinks truck sitting unattended at a bank, Costco, or anywhere to requires money and living off those unmarked bills for the rest of time (I'm not sure what unmarked bills means, but criminals always talk about them).
The fact Edwin Jobany Villa had the guts to pull off that heist but lacked the brains to do anything more than dye his hair is so frustrating to poor folks like myself. But I guess that's just the balance of life. If you aren't smart enough to know to at least shave your head if not figure out some other way to change your appearance with your newfound million dollars before disappearing from civilization until the 5 Wanted Stars at the very least start blinking, you probably aren't crazy enough to rob a Brinks truck. And if you would dye your hair blonde so you stick out like some time traveling Stan straight from the early 2000s as the fucking FBI searches for you, the phrase A Fool And His Money Are Soon Parted is literally about you. So best of luck with the court case and potential jail time, Eddy. Because for a brief time you lived a life the rest of us would only dream of.
