Joe Girardi Will Be The Next Manager Of The Phillies So I Hope Everyone Else Enjoys Baseball While They Still Can
So a lot of people out there felt that it was a little unfair how the Phillies handled the Gabe Kapler situation. He wasn’t necessarily a great manager but what did you expect him to do with a team that can’t pitch for shit 4 out of 5 days? And then to string him along for a little longer before the organization finally decided to let him go? It was a pretty situation for sure. But guess what?
Nobody gives a damn about that anymore because the Philadelphia Phillies men’s professional baseball team went out there and they got their guy. Most importantly, they got John Middleton’s guy.
Klentak and MacPhail just trying to figure out exactly what their job is here now.
But John Middleton said after the 2009 World Series that he wants his fucking trophy back. Who better to get that trophy back than the man who stole it from the Phillies in the first place?
So now the Phillies have an offense and they have a manager with a championship pedigree. Back up the truck to get Gerrit Cole and the Phillies will be officially back. Plus think about how much “Fuck You” baseball Bryce Harper is going to play once the Nationals win the World Series. This man is going to be on a goddamn mission. Just think about that image right now of Joe Girardi and Bryce Harper hugging in the middle of Citizens Bank Park after the Phillies have won their 3rd consecutive World Series. Goddamn it’s a beautiful sight.
