Ho-Hum, Rick Barnes Adds Another Five-Star

The Vols have done it again, folks. Rick "Can't Recruit" Barnes just added another five-star prospect in Jaden Springer to give Tennessee the No. 4 recruiting class in the country in 2020.

I can't believe Papa Rick ever even considered leaving Knoxville to go to the has-been that is UCLA, but thank God we kept that from happening. When you're recruiting with the names on that list, it's only a matter of time before you're going to see commensurate results.

Tennessee should be a solid NCAA Tournament team this season with the addition of 5-star Josiah James to some pieces returning from last year's Sweet 16 squad. But if James stays and joins Jaden Springer, Corey Walker and Keon Johnson in 2020? Oh my goodness, what a wagon the Vols will have then.

Football is great. It's fun. But everyone knows basketball is the gentleman's game and the University of Tennessee is a basketball school.
