Snoop Dogg may have just gotten his favorite birthday gift ever.

The rapper, who turned 48 on Sunday, celebrated his big day with a customized bouquet of flowers filled with 48 joints, as seen in a video obtained by TMZ.

The outlet reported that the bouquet for Snoop (né Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) was created by cannabis floral designer and artist Leslie K Monroy. The designer told TMZ that the employees from the rapper’s weed company, Merry Jane, were behind the generous gift.

I can’t tell you the last time I’ve gotten a heartfelt gift from anyone for anything.  My birthday is in a week and a tradition my dad and I have is to meet in the middle of us at the Oak Brook OTB.  Every year he’ll hand me $100 and within 10 mins it’s in possession of an automated teller at said OTB.  It’s not exactly heartfelt, in fact it’s probably just a pity thing. That, and I’m pretty sure the only reason he ever even remembers my birthday is because one of my siblings reminds him.  Not that I care or anything because birthdays are the worst but still.  There isn’t any emotion or love tied to a c note.  Just ask Elaine Benes.

But Snoop’s gift?  Snoop’s gift was a product of love.  A product of loyalty.  A product of respect.  This would be a good gift from a significant other let alone people who work for you.  Ya know why?  Snoop loves weed more than you love your own mother.  48 joints for his 48th birthday is going to provide him with the best 48 hours of his entire life.    It’s something he’ll get use out of, not something he’ll piss away like $100 in gambling funds because I can’t handicap a horse race to save my goddamn life.

Take notes dad, you asshole or next year I’m giving YOU $100 in gambling funds to piss away at an OTB.

PS – Dente prolly turns 48 within the next handful of years.  What do you think I should get him?
