Tom Brady Is Not Pleased

I cannot remember the last time I saw Brady this angry during a media scrum. Everything out of him and Belichick is always so calm, so calculated, so bland. This wasn’t that. From listening to this a few times, I don’t think Brady cares that people were making jokes. That’s part of the game. I blogged it last night, because it was funny. That’s it. Nothing more. But he very clearly doesn’t care for people trying to make this a real world story of some non-existent beef between him and Robert Kraft. Which, he should be pissed. We rarely get to see Tom outside of playing football. He’s made random cameos here and there, from ENTOURAGE to SNL to TED 2 and now this. It’s clearly something he enjoys. Well, enjoyed. After this I can’t imagine we’re going to see him pop up in anything any time soon. Him pressing reporters about whether or not they understand context and jokes is not what anyone anticipated happening before Monday night’s game against the Jets.

Which, you really gotta feel bad for the Jets here. They were already going to lose, but they were just going to lose normally. Now, Brady’s pissed the fuck off. And who wrote this joke, filmed him on this green screen and put him into this predicament in the first place? A JETS FAN. From Refinery 29:

Luckily, Greenberg, could and once he had written Brady into the script, executive producer Jeff Stern reached out to the football star’s agent and his publicist. Brady was interested, but it was football season. “So, we were waiting and waiting and waiting for the Patriots to finish their run and then, sure enough, they won again,” Greenberg, a “long-suffering” Jets fans, says of the Patriots 2019 Super Bowl win.

Patriots – 235
Jets – 3
