I remember seeing this video when it happened live and thought it was the coolest thing ever, and after yesterday's heroics by Dansby Swanson, I thought it was appropriate. He was an absolute stud at Vanderbilt. As a junior was the no doubt top choice for Arizona to take at the top of the draft. Swanson had just went yard and hit a double as the Commodores were wrapping up the Super Regional. Next thing he knows, the MLB Draft is starting in a few minutes and he literally gets to crawl out of a dog pile and hears his name called as the #1 pick to the Arizona Diamondbacks. What a cool way to find that out. Surrounded by teammates and his family, pretty damn awesome. He was traded to Atlanta before he ever played a game as a member of the Diamondbacks, and he hasn't quite lived up to the #1 pick label, but he sure did look like the 1.1 pick last night as he helped tie the game and swung the series in the Braves' favor.
