Damian Lillard Dropped Another Incredible Shaq Diss Track And Went Absolutely In On Him

Well, then. Hello, there late Friday afternoon diss track that just completely went in on Shaq. I mean good God, Dame. The best part of this is this isn’t even in response to something. Shaq dropped his first diss track earlier this week:

The next day, Dame responded:

It’s been relatively quiet since then. I was waiting to see if Shaq would respond – whether it be a post of sorts or another diss track. Instead he does what Shaq does and posted a bunch of advertisement/sponsored deals. Meanwhile, Lillard was in the studio prepping this and this of all the 3 might be the most brutal.

Let’s get into it.

He had a shout out to friend of the program Jerry Ferrara:

In case you’re unaware of what that means. Proctor is/was Jerry’s character on Power. This is what happened to his character:

That’s what Damian Lillard just said he’s doing to Shaq. Fucking ruthless line. Plus, bonus point for being real recent in pop culture. Then he gets into really what started this whole shit. He says ‘you not a rapper. You comedy, commentary and actor.’ Remember, this whole thing started with Damian Lillard on the Joe Budden podcast saying no one really thought of Shaq as a rapper and that Lillard was better.

We got another all-time ricochet shot and this time it’s at Damon Stoudamire with the line ‘the only Dame you beat was in 2000 and that was Stoudamire.’ Remember what happened in 2000? Oh, he’s just referencing that it took refs and terrible calls for the Lakers to beat the Blazers.

I love that he calls out Shaq for ‘how you swing on Chuck and then try to be his bestie.’ Obviously referencing the Inside the NBA on TNT crew here with Shaq and Chuck getting into arguments all the time and Shaq’s lame RINGZZZ response to Chuck every time. I’m firmly #TeamChuck here.

I love it. I said this is has been wildly entertaining as someone who obviously loves hoops and likes rap. Give me this shit all day however I don’t know how Shaq can respond. Dame basically dares him to come at him and he’ll come back even harder. Dame is 100% the better rapper. He takes everything that Shaq lists as an accomplishment and twists it – even just listing the rappers he’s worked with at the end of this song.

All I know is good luck Shaq. Dame just went in. Have a weekend, folks.
