Rich Paul And Klutch Sports Are About To Own The NFL

Klutch 2019 All Star Weekend Dinner

It only took a few years for Klutch to get to a point where it basically runs the NBA, so if this becomes official you can bet your bottom dollar that the same thing will eventually happen in the NFL. Say what you want about LeBron and Rich Paul, but they built a legit powerhouse in the NBA, with a client list that is the who’s who of NBA talent. Guys like LeBron, Darius Bazley, Eric Bledsoe, Miles Bridges, Anthony Davis, Darius Garland, Draymond Green, Montrezl Harrell, Dejounte Murray, Ben Simmons, JR Smith, John Wall, Tristan Thompson, the list goes on and on and it’s only growing larger now that Klutch has become the go to agency in the NBA.

So why should this matter with the NFL? Well, if you watched what went on this past season in the NBA, it’s pretty clear that Rich Paul & Co will do anything they possibly can to make LeBron happy. First it was get all his friends paid in CLE, then it was the entire Anthony Davis fiasco, one way or another Rich Paul works his magic to keep his number one client happy. Why is that significant? Well, one would think the same would be done in the NFL, maybe for LeBron’s favorite team

New York Giants v Dallas Cowboys

Based off Spotrac, the Cowboys are set to have around $88M in cap space next season. This obviously doesn’t figure in the Dak or Amari Cooper extensions, so if we assume his cap hit will be similar to what Matt Ryan has as the highest paid QB in the NFL, that cap hit will probably be around $33M. You look at the highest paid WR in Michael Thomas and his cap hit is 15M so I would imagine Cooper’s is somewhere close to that number maybe a few million less. Point is, the Cowboys are going to have a shit ton of money to spend and you should keep this in the back of your mind moving forward.

It’s also no surprise that as guaranteed contracts become more of the norm in the NFL, that Klutch is looking to get involved. I find it interesting that this dude that Klutch is in talks with, Damarius Bilbo, also happens to be the agent of Melvin Gordon. Need help getting your guy a new deal? Bring in Rich Paul. He’ll get him paid without a doubt. I think you can also take to the bank that AB is going to find his way to Klutch one way or another. Remember, he and LeBron/Rich Paul already have a connection

It’ll be certainly be something to see how NFL owners handle Rich Paul entering their lives. For so long they’ve done a great job of bending over the players, but in this new player empowerment era and after everything Klutch has done in the NBA, something tells me things won’t be so easy for them if Rich Paul is now involved. Things are about to get a whole lot more complicated for them as they continue to try and find new ways to bone the players. In an NFL world that has been penetrated by Klutch Sports, those days will be numbered. The top talent in the NFL will all eventually be under the Klutch umbrella, just like in the NBA, and there’s no way Rich Paul doesn’t get them that fully guaranteed money. Times are changing that’s for sure.

Next thing you know college players are going to be able to enter the draft earlier, contracts are going to be 100% guaranteed, and one man is going to be the most powerful figure in the two biggest professional sports leagues in this country. If I were an NFL owner I’d be shaking in my boots right now.
