Blake Bortles Officially Has The Best Job In Sports; Jared Goff To Sign The Largest Guaranteed Contract In NFL History

Congrats to Jared Goff on re-signing. Putting pen to paper on the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history has to be an all time feeling. I don’t care if it will probably be topped by Dak and every other quarterback who signs moving forward, that wouldn’t take away any of the satisfaction for me while that Bic gelpoint is gliding over that contract.

And while Goff is about to make generational wealth, there is no bigger winner in all of this than Blake Bortles. Blake Bortles officially has the best job in sports. It was already pretty good before this news, but now that it’s guaranteed that Goff isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, Bortles got backup checks coming his way for just as long. Who knows, maybe Goff misses a game or two here and there and Bortles has a Matt Flynn versus the Patriots type performance and backs his way into another bag. That’s why it’s the best job in sports. Backing up his boy, living in LA, and maybe the most job security out of anyone in the League. Blake Bortles continues to be a finesse king and for that he’ll forever have my utmost respect.
