Getting Your Truck Stolen While You Are Robbing A Store Is An Awful Look For A Crook

ABC- A man in Washington who called police to report that his car had been stolen wound up behind bars himself when police discovered he had allegedly been robbing a store across the street when his vehicle was taken.

William Kelley made a call to the Kennewick Police Department at around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning to report the theft of his red 1992 Chevy pickup truck. Security camera footage obtained by the police show that a male on a bicycle was riding past the vehicle when he discovered the keys to Kelley’s truck had been left on the seat. The individual then took his bike, placed it in the bed of the truck, and fled the scene of the crime in the stolen vehicle.

However, upon further review of the security footage, police discovered that the reason Kelley was at that location early Sunday morning was because he was in the middle of allegedly stealing items from a business right across the street.

What a beautiful moment of the criminal Circle of Life to be caught on video. In nature there is always a bigger fish ready to eat your ass if your little fish head isn’t on a swivel and in the crime world there is always some other crook looking to steal your shit. I know the phrase “Thick as thieves” exists and all. But I’m pretty sure that only plays if you are part of a robbery superteam headed by Danny Ocean or are at least smart enough to not leave the keys to your unlocked getaway car on the seat so any derelict on a bike can roll up and steal said getaway car.

Instead, the Karma Gods ensured that Billy boy essentially traded his car for whatever he *allegedly* robbed from that store while also resetting his street cred value to absolute zero. It may seem cruel and unfair, but as the greatest career crook the world has ever seen once said:

Also the ending to that article made me legit LOL.

Kelley was immediately jailed in the early hours of Sunday morning and charged with burglary, according to a statement by the Kennewick Police Department. Kelley’s 1992 Chevy pickup truck has still not been located.
