The Best Movies From Each State Bracket - WEEK 2

ICYMI, I started a bracket out of the results of the 50-week Movie States blog series I did. For all the rules/setup etc. make sure to check that link. Here are the results from Week One.

– The highest seed to lose was #17 Wyoming who got smacked by #48 Hawaii. Tough look for the Cowboys, but it’s tough to compete against uhhhh bangers like ’50 First Dates’. #18 Oklahoma also lost to #47 New Hampshire which was maybe even more surprising.

– The Oklahoma upset was also the closest matchup, with New Hampshire only winning by 6.4%

– The biggest margin of victory was #23 Marylands 85-15 DOMINANCE over #42 Washington State. Washington had some heaters like ‘First Blood’ and ‘Free Willy’, but ‘Wedding Crashers’ apparently put the terps over the edge.

– Out of the 18 matchups, 5 ended in upsets.

Now that the preliminaries are out of the way, it’s time for the big boys to get some play. That’s right, the 14 bye-week teams are coming in to play the winners.
