Well you know I am not up when Raf is coming in. I am in bed. I am the old man in that regard. I don’t know if it is 2 or 3 but I know he has more than two or three! He is enjoying his life and doing a great job. He is the Governor. America’s Guest. I love him like a Dad.

Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery. The two voices of college basketball and there’s no way you can disagree with that. The two of them together is electric – they are so damn good they make Big 10 basketball entertaining when the games are in the 40s.

More importantly we now have Gus Johnson talking about Raft drinking, which is always the story. It’s no secret that I love Bill Raftery, probably as much as my own grandfather if not more. There’s no one better in the world than Raft and the stories about him are legendary. I mean look at this quote from Raft

The man refuses to join Twitter because he’s terrified of what he’s going to say on his 10th drink. That’s a man I want to sit next to at a bar and shut it down. It’s not even close. You can take all your options, just put me in a bar with Raft over any person in the history of the world.

I need to know what a drunk Raft is like. Obviously he just has stories for years about hoops. I wouldn’t even have to say a word around him. Just want to listen to him talk and share stories about his time calling games. I want to hear about his bar stories. There’s no one else better than this guy
