Empire Filming Scenes Where Jussie Smollett Staged His Fake Attack Is The Cockiest Thing I've Ever Seen

Probably one of my all time favorite stories once we get past the fallout and damage. Up and coming entertainer wants to get paid more so instead of going through proper union channels and talking to his agent, he concocted to most preposterous story anyone in Chicago has ever heard… a targeted mugging by Make America Great Supporters against Jussie Smollet at midnight outside a Subway on one of the coldest nights of the year in an A+ Chicago neighborhood. The video of him with the rope around his neck – again, once you get past all the fallout and damage – is legit laugh out loud funny. Like scout’s honor, probably the worst acting job the CPD’s been forced to endure since the last great Chicago PD watch party in Edison Park.

And now this.

Empire returns to Chicago for filming and not just anywhere but literally at the exact spot of his hoax. Like right where he faked the whole thing. If that’s not first ballot hall of fame trolling than idk what is. Only question is are they trolling Chicago or Jussie? On the one hand, Jussie dragged the show through a seemingly insurmountable amount of bullshit so I can see the producers cooking up something diabolical. On the other hand, Hollywood is filled to the brim with pussies and I’m not really sure

Deep down I need the writers somehow incorporate Jussie’s character into getting mugged in that exact location. Leave him completely out of it, obviously. But if they could get a stuntman to get his ass kicked 3 ways from Sunday and then spin it as why Jussie’s character will no longer appear on the show then I’m All Gas No Brakes. Maybe include all the officers who had to work on his bullshit investigation could stand in as extras for 10x the normal pay? Maybe take the boys in blue out for some Italian beefs and ice cold Miller Lites after a long day of filming? Maybe FOX can fund some scholarships for CPD children in the name of honesty and integrity?

Idk guys I’m just working my way through the reality that Empire is back on location like ON LOCATION in our backyard and it better be for no other reason than to dance on someone’s proverbial grave. I’ll never watch a second of that TV show but on behalf of everyone in town, you better hope it makes him look bad and not the other way around.
