DAILY MAIL - An Instagram influencer couple have sparked outrage after sharing footage showing them splashing each other with holy water at a sacred temple.
The Pura Beji is a large, beautiful temple located in Sangsit, North Bali – dating back to the 15th century and the expedition of the Majapahit kingdom, it features huge manicured lawns and tropical gardens, intact statues and stone staircases, with white sandstone walls covered by carvings of Hindu epics, fables and legends, serpents and menacing demons and guardians. In the local tongue, the name “beji” means “purification by the way of holy water” – the temple is built over a well, and local farmers worship the “rice and fertility goddess” Dewi Sri at the holy site. A truly magnificent structure with profound meaning to the area’s culture.

‘Fitspo’ model Sabina Dolezalova posted a video to Instagram of her boyfriend Zdenek Slouka spraying holy water from a fountain on to her backside.
The couple, from the Czech Republic, have since come under fire from Dr Arya Wedakarna, a Bali senator, for the ‘insensitive’ video.
The clip was filmed at the Beji Temple in the popular monkey forest tourist attraction in Ubud.

Instead, they’re being publicly shamed and forced to go private on the Gram.
The pair have since apologised over the video and Ms Dolezalova said she’s taken it down.
“We didn’t know it was holy water,” she wrote.
“We are truly sorry.”
Mr Slouka also apologised for “dishonouring” the temple in a video with Ms Dolezalova.
“We are so sorry about that and we apologise to you,” he said.
Another day, another stark example of how hard it is out here for an influencer.
