What a summer for Kelly Oubre. You may remember the name whether you’re a college basketball with him being a highly ranked recruit to go to Kansas or an NBA guy who remembers him with the Wizards and then traded to the Suns.

His summer starts by signing a 2-year, $30 million contract with the Suns. Not too shabby. I mean I’m not going to bat my eyes at $30 million no matter what you think of him as a player. The dude is a decent defender, versatile and has a ton of potential. I actually like him a lot in Phoenix – as I’m assuming Jared Carrabis does too. But, that’s not the story here.

Jasmine was linked to Josh Rosen earlier this year. To me it just shows what I’ve always believed. Basketball > football. I think this is all the proof that we need to back my theory, in my own opinion of course.
