Found The Perfect New Fad Diet: Andre Drummond's One Beer A Day Out Of 'Necessity'
[Source] – It’s clear Andre Drummond isn’t a beer aficionado. Miller Lite is his beer of choice with Corona a close second.
But Drummond’s beer-per-day diet is borne out of necessity – not a desire to sample the latest IPA. The Detroit Pistons center said recently he has eliminated red meat from his diet mainly consisting of fish and vegetables.
“If you do it the right way, it’s actually not bad for you and that’s why I’m doing it,” Drummond said with a laugh.
Oh sure, when other people drink every day it’s not called a diet. That’s just one of the beauties of being famous though. Cut out some steak and burgers sub in more beer? Not the worst trade off honestly. I mean chicken is the most versatile meat out there, just have your cook get frisky with it and you can make this diet work.
It’s not the first time this year we’ve had a beer diet story, granted it’s the first one in sports though. Remember the guy who works at a brewery in Cincinnati who only drank beer for Lent and dropped 41 pounds?
The crazy part is that this is healthy. These stories just completely flipped the game on its head. No more working out. No more eating healthy. Just going to drink beer for 10 days and drop 10 pounds. Maybe get crazy and do 20 days and 20 pounds. It’s about to be football season anyways, which means beer should be around at all times. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.
Now I gotta see how Drummond plays this year. If he has another All-Star type year and more consistent, guess what I’m starting? This diet. Big Cat has talked about it before, trying every fad diet out there. Well, I just found the new one and so far we’re 1 for 1 on making beer diets work.
