A Major James Bond Spoiler Was Leaked *SPOILER*

(Daily Mail) “Since Daniel Craig announced he was standing down as James Bond, debate has raged whether the next 007 should be a woman, or black.

Now The Mail on Sunday can reveal that she will be both – thanks to the intervention of feminist TV writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

In what’s been called a ‘popcorn-dropping moment’, British star Lashana Lynch, will be given Bond’s licence to kill in the 25th movie in the franchise, currently being shot in Italy and the UK.” 

If you don’t know who Lashana Lynch is offhand, her biggest role you will recognize her from is the badass Maria Rambeau from ‘Captain Marvel’. This is an interesting turn for the franchise, which had a very weak showing with its last installment, ‘Spectre’. It opens up some interesting possibilities because she isn’t taking over the name of Bond, but rather just the codename 007. So perhaps there will be some expansion down the line. I was personally pulling for Idris Elba to get the role, but I also think Lynch has the chops to pull off the role based off my limited exposure to her.  By the way, if you are one of the reactionaries looking to shit their pants on-line, here is a reminder of the public’s reaction to Ledger getting the Joker, Craig getting Bond, and Evans getting Captain America:
