Classic scene from a classic movie, the 4th of July scene is one of the best. If it very unrealistic? Of course. You literally can't play baseball in the dead of night just using fireworks as your light source… but that's for another time. A really awesome scene that brings back a shit ton of memories. It's hard not to think of this scene from The Sandlot anytime the 4th comes around, one of the most famous parts of the movie for sure. Shout out to the Great Hambino for grabbing a handful of cake and a hotdog on the way to the field too. With "America The Beautiful" by Ray Charles playing in the background, it's impossible not to see this scene and revert back to being a kid on the 4th and playing pickup ball in the neighborhood.
