THIS LEAGUE: Uhh, The Warriors Just Traded For D'Angelo Russell, Sent Iggy To Memphis And The NBA Offseason Is Officially Drunk As Hell

What the hell is going on out here? We’ve heard about mystery teams and offers with Al Horford. We had the is Durant really joining Kyrie or Kawhi. Now we have D’Angelo Russell being traded to the goddamn Warriors.

The moment Kyrie went to the Nets, it was decided that Russell was out. The question was would he end up as a Laker or in Minnesota. I mean, KAT had this just a few hours ago:

I get why the Warriors want Russell, I don’t get why the Nets would do this. The Warriors can use Russell for the year, let Klay rehab at his own pace and then flip him for whatever. They need help on the wing most likely so they have this young asset now in Russell who will likely get traded at some point in the next year.

But, how about just sending Iggy to the curb?

Really though this just wraps up the craziest first day in free agency that I can remember. I mean think about everything that happened.

– Kyrie/Durant join up in Brooklyn

– Kemba to the Celtics

– Horford to the Sixers

– Jimmy Butler to Miami which is now on hold due to a trade dispute

– D’Angelo Russell traded
