It’s officially summer. It’s hot. It’s muggy. You’re commuting to a job you fucking hate to sit under florescent lights that make you go insane. If that loud, smelly, crowded, metal tube shuttling you is a second late then you’re going to be rightfully upset and annoyed. That is something that can take you from miserable to mental break down in a hot second.

That is why the CTA being brutally honest is the best move possible. Oh someone is being a dick? Been there. Completely relatable and forgivable. Just like that the CTA became a person who had to deal with some other person and people can be fucking terrible. CTA should use this excuse just about every time. Fastest way to get people on your side is to blame other people.
