Luka Doncic Won The Rookie Of The Year But Once Again His Mom Stole The Show

Not all that much of a surprise to kick us off with our first award of the night. There was some buzz around Trae Young with how he finished the regular season but make no mistake, Luka had one of the more impressive rookie seasons in recent history.  He did some shit only all time greats were able to accomplish, and let’s not kid ourselves, the world needed to see Luka’s mom

I’m not even sure what the answer to that question is. I mean Luka’s girlfriend is a certified smoke, but his Mom is the GOAT. Both are well beyond what any of us mere mortals can pull and I feel like that has to play into ROY voting. Like Luka is just one smooth motherfucker on and off the floor. Remember back when he was drafted and there was a question as to if his accomplishments overseas would translate? Yeah, he’s only one of the most decorated young players on the planet

Safe to say the Mavs are happy with what they got as a result of that draft day trade. Luka is poised to dominate this league for a long time and I imagine this won’t be the last award he wins. He came in right away and showed he belonged from the jump, but you already knew that. Now to what you really care about and why you clicked on this blog in the first place.
