Feel Good Friday: Albert Pujols Gave The Jersey Off His Back To A Kid With Down Syndrome Then Signed Autographs And Took Pictures

There go my eyes sweating Friday afternoon yet again. I don’t know if it’s the remaining pollen in the air or the change from spring to summer. But something’s definitely up. I think we already know how awesome Albert Pujols is as a baseball player. You don’t give someone the nickname The Machine without a shit ton of production. But you also hear how he is The Man (see what I did there?) off the field as well with the Pujols Family Foundation that helps people living with Down Syndrome and other hardships. But to actually watch him casually make a kid’s day like that was so awesome, I instantly forgave him for weighing down the Angels payroll during the last few and next few years of Mike Trout’s prime.
