And that right there, my friends, is why Philly is the greatest city on God’s green Earth. The moment that ice cream truck driver decided to hit the music, that’s how you know that the city of Philadelphia just goes harder than the rest.
You think ice cream truck drivers in other cities across the nation stick around for that fight? Hell naw. They jump on the pedal and they hightail it out of there. Head straight back to the playground where it’s safe. The moment they see some naked dude strolling down the sidewalk, they’re out of there.
But not in Philly. No sir. This right here is just another day in the office. It doesn’t matter if some dude has his dick and nuts flopping around out there in public as he’s getting his ass kicked by some dude ripping a dart. Doesn’t matter one bit. Because last time this ice cream driver checked, it’s summertime. And my man has an entire truck filled with chipwiches and fudge pops and strawberry crunch bars to sling. So he throws that bitch in park, provides the perfect soundtrack for the fight, and now the whole neighborhood gets treated to a show. And on top of all that, he gets to sling some frozen treats. You really just have to admire the dedication and passion to game here from this ice cream truck driver.
