Even The Russian Communist Party Hated Game Of Thrones Finale

(Source)–Unsatisfied with the fate of the show’s heroes and villains, a branch of the Communists of Russia Party has penned an open letter to HBO and the show’s producers demanding a reshoot of the final season.

“There are many sincere fans of this wonderful series in our party because it demonstrates the consequences that monarchist regimes can bring,” Sergei Matasov, the first secretary of the party’s regional committee in Russia’s republic of Altai, wrote last week.

According to the party’s members, the producers failed to listen to their fans while filming the final six episodes, resulting in an “ill-conceived storyline,” “poor acting” and a “lack of logical conclusions.”

The Communists accused the show of “disappointing millions of fans and presumably misappropriating the funds allocated to the show, which came from the taxes of ordinary American workers and downtrodden negroes.”

“We… demand an immediate apology from the creators of the finale of ‘Game of Thrones’ and a compulsory reshoot of the final season with new directors and screenwriters,” the Russian communists concluded, adding that their comrades from the U.S. Communist Party should be involved in the reshoot.

My initial reaction to hearing that Communists hated Game Of Thrones was

Firstly…it’s been like weeks now. We have reached our breaking point on the subject. The show is well over, the after-show is over. Just shut up. We’ve moved on.

Secondly, also shut the fuck up. I hope it took them so long to get their opinion out there because it was delivered by Raven instead of an iphone. You don’t get to be anti-capitalist while complaining on your iphone which is from the spoils of capitalism. You certainly don’t get to complain that drama produced by capitalism didn’t meet your artistic standards. Fuck you guys. Their entertainment probably looks like the play in Bravos

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones in the West has enough money to employ a guy whose only job is to be the master of snow. There’s literally a guy who just walks around making sure the snow in the scenes looks right in Winterfell. So fuck off. Everyone in the world is allowed to complain about Thrones. But not you guys. Keep your mouths shut or try to make something better on your zero dollars budget.
