"Will Pass Rush For Hot Wings" - Missouri Defensive End Stands In The Parking Lot Outside Of An NFL Camp Holding A Sign Begging For A Tryout
NY POST – If you can walk on in college, walk on in the NFL. Or at least try. Jordan Harold is doing just that.
Harold, who walked on as a defensive end at Missouri after staking out the parking lot for the training complex, was at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Monday, holding a sign saying, “Will pass rush for hot wings.”
The Panthers confirmed to the Kansas City Star that the team’s scouting department had been given Harold’s information.
At Missouri, Harold posted 2.5 sacks in his career, making his stand in the parking lot worthwhile. We’ll see whether he can do the same in the NFL, but the odds seem a bit heavier.
I like this move. A lot. I see no problem with it and I disagree with all the people saying it’s embarrassing and he looks desperate blah blah blah. Jordan’s a good kid who has worked his ass off for everything he’s gotten and refuses to accept being undrafted despite his 2.5 sacks in his Mizzou career. He walked on there, made himself a starter and captain, now he’s ready to walk on to the Panthers to make himself a starter and captain with a belly full of hot wings.
“I just want a shot,” he told Fox 46. “It takes a lot of humility to do something like this.”
I mean dude isn’t even asking for a contract. Just some hot wings. What are those like 8 bucks an order? Lot cheaper than the rookie minimum.
Give Jordan a shot and some DD Peckers!
