A Couple Of Guitar Legends Got Together And Fucked Around With The Game Of Thrones Theme Song

Tom Morello of Rage and Audioslave, Brad Paisley, Scott Ian of Anthrax and Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.  All we really need here is John Mayer, Clapton, Jimmy Page and a few others and you basically have your Supreme Court of living guitarists all in one room busting out a few GoT guitar riffs.  I can fuck with that.

Now the final season blows, anyone with a brain knows that.  At least with respect to expectations of how the story would end does.  And I’m sure all of the guys in the video above would agree.  They should have proposed the show’s producers to have them play this 5 guitar rendition of the GoT theme song while Jon (hopefully) beheads Dany in the final episode.  ANYTHING to to spice up what has been a brutal season start to finish.

It’d be kinda like in the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad where they played the extended version of the theme song as Heisenberg was walking out of the bar.  This scene couldn’t have been anymore perfect:

And now that I think about it, maybe Vince Gilligan should have just written the final season?  The final season/ending of Breaking Bad was the one truly perfect ending of a TV show in history IMO.  Seinfeld?  Sucked.  Sopranos?  Not great at all.  Haven’t seen The Wire start to finish but I’ve heard mixed reviews.  There’s no way the Game of Thrones story can feasibly end well, so let’s forget about that too.  Breaking Bad though?  Couldn’t have ended better.  Game of Thrones had a chance to go down as the greatest show in TV history but nope, not anymore.  Goddamnit, what could have been…
