David Montgomery Is Going To Make Bears Fans Forget About Jordan Howard SO Fast

Watch that highlight real.  WATCH IT!!!!!  Watch it and tell me that the Bears shouldn’t have tossed Jordan Howard to Philly for peanuts.  Watch it and tell me that the Bears don’t have the draft pick depth to trade up for anything, let alone a running back.

You seriously cannot.  You have no argument for it.

You telling me Howard doesn’t get tackled for minimal gain here?

or that he has the lateral quickness and first step to find a hole on the play below to get a first down?

Or the balance to break through a billion defenders to bust out a 50 yard line like this?

NO WAY.  I get that Montgomery is doing all of this against dog shit Big 12 defenses, but the skill set couldn’t be more evident.  Howard was a good running back and will be productive for Philly; but anyone who thinks the Bears didn’t make a massive upgrade with this pick has their head up their ass.

The Bears are more balanced than they arguably ever have been.  At least in the last 20 years; loaded defense with star power at all levels, good offensive line, innovative players’ coach, and no playmakers at all skill positions on offense across the board.

Baseball is fun again for both sides of town, but 2019-20 kickoff cannot get here soon enough.  And Bears fans want Aaron Rodgers to die a fiery fucking death on 9/5, Game of Thrones style
