It was the in-shape one. You know, the full time MMA fighter. Not the meat factory worker who requested off to fight tonight. Shocking, I know, but that’s just how the cards were dealt tonight.

Hager (fka Jack Swagger in the WWE) held onto the choke WAAAAAAAAAAY longer than he needed to…

…and then seemingly turned heel on the crowd afterwards, bizarrely mentioning his raging boner in the process.

Listen – playing the heel post-fight is amazing, and all good. Holding onto that choke as long as he did though? That ain’t cool. That REEEEAAAAALLY ain’t cool. As a fighter who just made his professional debut this year, and brought a lot of outside eyes to the sport in doing so, refusing to release that hold well after feeling the tap was a bit of a slap in the face to mixed martial arts as a whole. Can’t be doing shit like that.
