I don’t think I have to say it but this is obviously very not ok. Can’t go around demanding your new employees be white. That’s no bueno. I know it’s brave of me to say that but I’m saying it and I don’t care who hears me.

Now having said that, is this the most brilliant way to get fired from a job ever? I have to think that this was intentional. That the perpetrators knew exactly what they were doing and hoped for this outcome because anything else is just too stupid.

Everyone dreams of their last day at the office and what they’d do, as far as popularity goes it’s up there with a threesome and scoring the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl. People play out the scenario in their heads a million times, how they’d tell their boss to fuck off, tell annoying coworkers what they really think of them, maybe hack the company database from the inside and fuck a bunch of stuff up.

But in 2019? There’s no better way to burn a bridge and create a shitstorm for your company than getting them entangled in a racist posting on social media. According to their apology, Cynet actually seems like a pretty diverse company concerned with providing equal opportunities, yet they’ve spent the last three days scrambling and apologizing for being white supremacists.

That’s horrible, but that’s brilliant. The people who’ve made your life shit for however long you’ve been at the company are now forced to deal with the biggest PR disaster you could imagine and get called racists by tens of thousands of strangers on the internet. If that’s not the headache you want to leave your boss with on your way out the door then god bless you.
