Carl's Jr. Will Be Releasing A CBD-Infused Burger On 4/20 (The Weed Day)

On Saturday, Carl’s Jr. will debut the CBD-infused “Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight” at a single location in Denver. The CBD burger will be available for $4.20 during the one-day test, fittingly held on April 20, a weed-filled celebration for many Americans. With the test, Carl’s Jr. would become the first major fast-food chain to roll out a cannabis-infused menu item — even if just for a one-location, one-day event.
So in case you didn’t know, April 20th is a day to do some weeds. The ganja. The greenery. The sticky icky. The devil’s lettuce. Woah buddy let me tell ya. If it’s 4/20, the grass is being smoked.
So Carl’s Jr, a fast-food chain which there are far too few of, is looking to capitalize. And not only are they looking to capitalize on the pots that’ll be smoked on 4/20, but they’re also looking to capitalize on the current CBD craze that has taken the world by storm. Everywhere you go there is CBD this and CBD that. There is CBD oil, CBD lotion, CBD toothpaste, CBD steak seasoning, CBD fabric softener. You name it, there is a CBD-infused version of that product and there are people out there who are going to purchase that product. Which is why the CBD-infused Santa Fe sauce on this Carl’s Jr. cheeseburger is going to make approximately 85 billion dollars on 4/20. Even if it’s just at one location.
You’re already going to have all those high boys and high girls who will have the “munchies”. The munchies refers to feeling extra hungry after dabbling in some cannabis usage. So you’ll already have people who are looking to scarf down something like a delicious looking cheeseburger while being “half baked”. And then once they get to the Carl’s Jr, they will see this Rocky Mountain Cheeseburger for sale which contained CBD-infused Santa Fe sauce. They won’t be able to help themselves at that point. It could be the final $4.20 they have to their name, and they would use that money to purchase that burger. Will it be worth it? I guess only time will tell. But at the very least, you won’t be hungry anymore and that knee pain you’ve been dealing with after having your 2nd ACL surgery will no longer be an issue.
