Mikko Rantanen's OT Winner Just Put The Flames In A Stranglehold

HOLY SHIT!
The Avs come all the way back and are now leading 3-1 after being down 1-0 in the series. They are absolutely flying right now and the Landeskog-Mackinnon-Rantanen line looks like they spend the entire shift in the O-zone every single time. Makar is getting more and more confident and will only somehow get better as these Playoffs go on. I still don’t understand how you can go from playing NCAA to playing against the best players in the world 2 days later and not miss a beat. Incredible.

After some late dramatics that lead to no score, it headed to the extra period. The entire OT was nuts. First Grubauer saves the day with this shit

Then Compher was VERY NEARLY the hero (jesus christ dude slow down you’re making us all look bad)

And finally they put one home and go up 3-1.

And after all of that, the giant Finn decided to get the job done himself and ends it in OT. Oh BOY are the Flames in trouble. Makar and Mackinnon on the ice together look like they are playing against mens leaguers. As a Blues fan, I am honestly not excited about the possibility of having to play these guys right now and I don’t think there is a single Western Conference team that is. If they can finish off the Flames, LOOK OUT.
