The Best Sammy Adams Songs In Honor Of The Stoolapalooza Barstool Gold Doc Tomorrow

When I saw the promo tweet for the new Barstool Gold documentary coming out on Wednesday, I have to admit I was hit with a tidal wave of nostalgia. This era of the stool is when I really became a diehard Barstool fan. I’m talking reading every single blog Dave wrote and taking it as the gospel which continued all the way until the present day where I moved to New York to work for them. This shit wasn’t just a concert tour, from afar, Stoolapalooza seemed like an alternate reality. I was a senior in high school in St. Louis and was nervous/excited for college but didn’t know what to expect, so the events in these videos seemed like the most fun shit you could possibly want to do as a human being aged 18-30.

I remember the name Sam Adams buzzing around my school even from 1,000 miles away because we couldn’t IMAGINE how many chicks this guy was getting. Sold out crowds and all of the songs we would listen to at parties, the dude was everything you wanted to be. From a random kid in Missouri’s perspective, the Stool was one of the purest grassroots stories I’d ever heard of and a level or “nothing to something” that may never happen again. So as weird as it is to be obsessed with the Stoolapalooza era without actually attending a show, it was a pretty significant thing given everything that came after. I mean these pictures are classic…

This episode of Paulie Doc’s masterpiece is must watch type of shit. Sign up here if you haven’t. So in honor of one of my favorite eras of Barstool and of music in general (you always love whatever you listened to in high school and college the most), here are my favorite Sam Adams aka Wiz songs from that time. He has had a ton of bangers since then, but to keep with the theme we’re going with only Bostons Boy era for now.
