Virginia Tech Fan Starts A GoFundMe To Keep Texas A&M 'Oil Barons' Away From Buzz Williams

Well, this is off to a roaring start. I’m sure this *looks closely* $495 is fending off Texas A&M from hiring the guy that’s been linked to this job the entire year.

I mean things seem to be going well:

This was the worst kept secret in college hoops this year. With A&M struggling everyone knew that they’d move on from Billy Kennedy and option No. 1 and really the only option would be Buzz Williams. Buzz is from Texas originally, turned Virginia Tech into a consistent program and is expected to lose a decent amount of talent from this year’s team in Ty Outlaw, Ahmed Hill, Justin Robinson and Nickiel Alexander-Walker.

Anyone worried about his coaching ability I beg you to watch this. I mean if he can take this group and turn them into something imagine what he’ll be able to do with the resources at Texas A&M:

Obviously A&M being able to bring in Buzz Williams would be a big time hire. He’s an awesome coach and a great personality to have. He’s been successful at Marquette and Virginia Tech and with the SEC getting a bunch of big time coaches in again (Alabama hiring Nate Oats this offseason and Vandy linked to Jerry Stackhouse) you have to keep up with the times.
