The 'Arm Wrestle Bone Snap Video' Made Me Fall Off My Chair So I Made Everyone Else Here Watch It Too

I like to think it takes a lot to startle me.

Crazy guy on the subway platform whackin’ his penis with jackhammer speed & intensity while attempting to make direct eye contact? You won’t see me flinch.
Pee all over the office bathroom floors? I’ll step around it.
Rivers of vomit in New Orleans? Hey, that guy had a lot of peas before he went drinking. Weird.

But there was something about this video that shook me right down to the soul….

That “something” was probably the sound of a human bone splitting clean in half so suddenly it almost sounded like a gunshot. When I watched it for the first time over at Nate’s desk we both literally fell off our chairs.

The office cameras caught it & it made us laugh, so I decided to make everyone else feel the same shock I did & record that, too. Here’s some reactions from people around the office:

The most surprising one to me was Liz. She didn’t even flinch. When I asked her why she said she’s seen much worse on the football fields, and I guess you probably do become numb to it after awhile. Others said it really wasn’t that bad, and a couple medics tweeted the same sentiment as Liz; once you see that kind of thing enough, it’s nothing. As for me, I’ll be hearing & seeing that snap in my dreams tonight. Good times.
